The past week in the life of our Uzbek parliament has been full of significant events for long-term development and strengthening of constitutional and legal foundations, as well as large-scale and rapid democratic transformations in the country to build New Uzbekistan and form the third Renaissance.

As a result, on May 16, separate meetings of the Oliy Majlis's (Parliament) two largest factions - UzLiDeP and National Revival (Milliy Tiklanish) Democratic Party were conducted, followed by a joint meeting on May 17 dedicated to the implementation of constitutional reforms in our country and submission of this issue to the Councils (Kengashes) of the Oliy Majlis.
THE INTERNATIONAL WEEK OF ZIYORAT TOURISM WILL BE HELD ANNUALLY IN UZBEKISTAN IN AUTUMN
The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On measures to organize and hold the International Week of Ziyorat Tourism”.
According to the document, the purpose of the international week is to make more effective use of the potential of pilgrimage tourism available in our country, to represent Uzbekistan as one of the most important centers of world civilization, to gain high recognition from the world community and international organizations, as well as to diversify pilgrimage tourism services and increase tourism exports.
To this end, starting from 2022, the International Week of Ziyorat Tourism will be held in Uzbekistan in the first week of November.
UZBEKISTAN'S CHAIRMANSHIP IN THE SCO: EFFECTIVE PARTNERSHIP, LONG-TERM GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Events organized within the framework of Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization are continuing in the capital. The agenda includes topical issues of strengthening cooperation in various areas, including cultural and humanitarian exchange.
The day before, Tashkent hosted an international tourism forum “A new stage of cooperation between the SCO countries: tourism and cultural heritage”, as well as a meeting of sports ministers of the member countries of the association. During the events, specific goals and objectives were developed, agreements were formed, which the parties will sign on the sidelines of the September summit.
Thus, the heads of tourism administrations of the SCO member states at the forum discussed a new stage of cooperation in the field of tourism and cultural heritage, issues of deepening cooperation on the introduction of joint combined tourist routes, as well as expanding transport and logistics opportunities. It was noted that the total space of the SCO member countries, stretching from the Arctic to the Indian Ocean and from Shanghai to Kaliningrad, includes more than 40 percent of the world's population.

THE INTERNATIONAL FORUM “DIALOGUE OF DECLARATIONS” WILL BE HELD IN THE CITIES OF TASHKENT, SAMARKAND AND BUKHARA
On 16-20 May 2022, Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara cities will host the International Forum “Dialogue of Declarations”.
The event is organized by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Institute for Global Engagement (the United States) with the support of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and hokimiyats of Samarkand and Bukhara regions.
